Usually, WWE reserve the term ‘Grandaddy of ’em All’ for WrestleMania, but with the Coronavirus pandemic turning everything on it’s head and delaying the ability to host shows with sold out live crowds until recently, SummerSlam is now taking pride of place as Vince McMahon’s marquee event for 2021.
The Hottest Event of The Summer is not only going to be hosted at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in front of 72,000 fans, it’s also going to see the long awaited in-ring return of John Cena and a first time ever bout between WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Goldberg.
So, with little under a month remaining before WWE’s biggest show of the year, what should we be expecting from SummerSlam 2021?
WHEN IS WWE SUMMERSLAM 2021?
SummerSlam 2021 will be taking place on a Saturday, this year, breaking with usual WWE tradition of hosting their Pay-Per-View events on a Sunday. It will take place on 21st August.
HOW CAN YOU WATCH WWE SUMMERSLAM 2021?
First things first, before bell time on the main card, the official SummerSlam 2021 pre-show will be available on the WWE Network (Peacock if you’re in the US), WWE.com, the WWE app, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch at 12am.
As for the main show, the aforementioned WWE Network/Peacock is your best bet, but if you aren’t yet subscribed, you can also hit up BT Box Office.
