The DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS subscription service that hosts PROGRESS Wrestling, will shortly add the first of many other promotions with the arrival at 5pm on Friday 20th October of TNT Extreme Wrestling.
DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS, which successfully launched in August already has the near-full back catalogue of PROGRESS Wrestling chapters and is in advanced discussions with other promotions to also host their content.
TNT Extreme Wrestling, which has been working closely with PROGRESS for two years brings many of its favourite recent shows onto the service, and it’s owner Jay Apter declared, “We finally have a great home for many of our greatest shows, and our fans and many who have been following us for years will now have a chance to relive many amazing moments in TNT’s history. We are also well advanced to start live streaming of our future shows later this year on Demand PROGRESS PLUS, this coming weekends shows will be available by the end of October.”
Lee McAteer, Co-Owner of PROGRESS Wrestling said of the exciting development to DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS: “Now that TNT Extreme Wrestling has a permanent home for its content, fans will be able to relive TNT’s greatest moments including the likes of Effy’s Big Gay Brunch, the joint shows with GCW, DOA and even when Gunther became TNT Extreme Wrestling Champion.”
In addition to some incredible past shows, the forthcoming shows will appear here in a couple of weeks namely, IGNition: IGNite the Fire which will feature three championship matches including Ignition Women’s Champion Lucy Sky defending against Saffire Reed who recently won the SHE-1 tournament in London.
The TNT IGNition Championship will be defended in a triple threat match between Dylan Roberts, RPD and Joey Hayes and the TNT Ultra X Championship will also be on the line when Man Like Dereiss faces Nico Angelo. TNT Extreme Wrestling’s Cold Day in Hell will feature a title celebration for new TNT World Champion Tate Mayfairs after his crafty win at the last show, and will also feature some of the best hardcore wrestling in the UK including a carnage inducing six man between Big FN Joe, Clint Margera and Paul Robinson facing meet Antonio Gonzalez, BA Rose and Michael Caden.The newly crowned CZW Tournament of Death winner Big FN Joe is sure to be given a raucous homecoming ovation from his adoring fans in Liverpool after he lifted the trophy previously won by the likes of Nick Gage, Masada and Ricky Shane Page.
For fans of a more hardcore style of wrestling they will soon be able to see death match legend Necro Butcher who it was announced this week will be wrestling in their DOA tournament next year.
