This Sunday, the G1 Climax 30 concludes with the final event from Ryogoku Kokugikan in Sumida, Tokyo.

Block A winner, Kota Ibushi, will face Block B winner, Sanada, in the final, to earn a shot at IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

The G1 Climax 30 started on 19th September in Osaka, and has been running weekly for the past month, leading up to the final night on Sunday.

In Block A, Kota Ibushi, has had to overcome matches against the likes of Jeff Cobb, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay and Taichi to claim 14 points, to win Block A and reach the final.

In Block B, Sanada defeated EVIL to claim the top spot in the last match of the Block, and advance to the final to face Kota Ibushi.

Kota Ibushi won the 2019 G1 Climax, defeating Jay White, and the odds will be in his favour to once again claim the G1, and move forward to a shot at the IWGP World Heavyweight Title.

Ibushi was unsuccessful in winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Title match at Wrestle Kingdom 14, which Wrestling Travel were apart of, losing to Kazuchika Okada.

Kota Ibushi will be looking to right that wrong from earlier this year.
