  • Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger To Enter WWE Hall of Fame

    Published on March 16, 2020

Legendary Japanese wrestler, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, will this year be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Liger, who’s extraordinary wrestling career started in the 80’s, will be honoured alongside the NWO, Batista, The British Bulldog and The Bella Twins.

During his 35-year career, Liger has performed all around the world, and wrestled for the biggest promotions, but was always a mainstay in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Although his appearances for WWE were rare, Liger last appeared in a WWE ring in a match against Tyler Breeze at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn, back in August 2015.

Wrestling Travel said farewell to Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger at New Year Dash back in January, in what was an emotional occasion for all in attendance, and the adoring Japanese audience.

Liger’s retirement ceremony coincided with Wrestling Travel’s first-ever trip to Tokyo for Wrestle Kingdom. It was a trip that will live long in the memory of everyone that headed over to Japan to witness Liger’s last two matches in professional wrestling.

It has yet to be determined who will induct Liger, but all details will be revealed very soon.
