    Slammiversary was an event built around surprises and who would be appearing, and there were PLENTY of names that did appear.

    There were numerous names thrown around leading up to the event, following the releases from WWE back in April, but only IMPACT Wrestling knew exactly who they wanted and who was coming in.

    A number of titles changed hands, and certainly set the tone for a new era for IMPACT Wrestling, in what they dubbed as their ‘World Changes Tonight’

    Out of the names we predicted, only two didn’t appear, and that was Mike and Maria.

    Here’s who returned or debuted at Slammiversary;

    The Motor City Machine Guns

    After a long absence from IMPACT Wrestling, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley returned to accept the tag team open challenge from The Rascalz.

    Heath Slater

    Heath jumped the guardrail and set his sights on glory in IMPACT Wrestling, although later in the night it was revealed by Scott D’Amore that Heath was in fact still a free agent and shouldn’t be in the building.

    Eric Young

    Eric Young returned and inserted himself into the IMPACT World Title main event and declared it a 5-way Elimination Match.

    The Good Brothers

    Gallows & Anderson appeared following the World Title match, and assisted new Champion, Eddie Edwards, in fending off Mad Man Fulton and Ace Austin.

    EC3

    Right at the end of the broadcast, a promo appeared which showed EC3 stood facing a wall, he turned around and smashed a glass against the wall and looked into the camera, as the show went off the air.

    As you can see some fantastic names appeared and will certainly get the chance to showcase exactly what they’re about in IMPACT. It’s certainly an exciting time and we can’t wait to see what’s next as the road to Bound for Glory begins.
