02:27AM – Thank you for joining the NXT TakeOver XXX live blog. What an incredible event, as always. We’ll see you tomorrow night for SummerSlam in the ThunderDome!

02:26AM – Unstoppable.

02:23AM – Karrion Kross has done it! He’s defeated Keith Lee to become the NEW NXT Champion!

02:16AM – This is an absolute war. There’s no telling who will win this one. Hooked.

02:10AM – Keith Lee showing his incredible strength lifting Kross up and dropping him down on the mat. A big main event feel for this one.

02:02AM – The sinister Karrion Kross in control, after an initial brawl outside of the ring. Could this be Kross’ night?

01:57AM – Your votes are in. Karrion Kross is the favourite.

01:52AM – It’s main event time. Tik tok. Keith Lee defends the NXT Title against Karrion Kross w/ Scarlett.

01:49AM – A promo airs for the return of NXT UK on September 17th!

01:45AM – After almost losing the title, Io Shirai picks up the win defeating Dakota Kai, but Dakota’s insurance policy beats the champion down after the match, but here comes Rhea Ripley who has a stare down with Raquel Gonzalez!

01:43AM – The referee is down, and Io Shiarai delivers a moonsault from the top rope onto Dakota which would have gotten the three count. Frustration sets in, but Dakota’s insurance policy now plants Io in the middle of the ring and drags the referee up, BUT IO KICKS OUT AS DAKOTA GOES FOR THE PIN!

01:40AM – Shirai built up some momentum, but Dakota Kai now has Io locked into a submission and this could signal the end of the NXT Women’s Champion.. but she finds the bottom rope!

01:33AM – This match could certainly steal the show (outside of the Ladder Match). Dakota Kai taking control very early on. I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing an NXT Women’s Title reign for Dakota.

01:25AM – The NXT Women’s Title is on the line next. Io Shirai defending her title againt Dakota Kai.

01:19AM – Adam Cole has defeated Pat McAfee, but what a performance from Pat. He’s silenced those doubters tonight and I certainly very much look forward to seeing more of him.

01:12AM – Pat just delivered a superplex from the top rope to Adam Cole, after showing his incredible athleticism! Wow.

01:11AM – Pat has been impressive and has shown super confidence. He’s certainly silenced the doubters. He’s got plenty in his locker. He looks like he belongs in there!

01:08AM – Pat has definitely been in training for this!

01:00AM – Pat cuts a brief promo before coming out to the ring, in a very cocky fashion! He’s certainly brought a lot more to the table than Gronk did.

12:58AM – Adam Cole is on his way out to the ring. He’s against Pat McAfee next!

12:57AM – Here is the incredible moment from Bronson Reed with Candice on his back..

12:52AM – Damian Priest has done it. We have a new North American Champion. What a freakin’ Ladder Match!

12:51AM – Where the heck did Dream just go after crashing into the audience area!

12:49AM – A nasty spot there with Gargano powerbombing Cameron Grimes from the top of a ladder, with Grimes’ head grazing another ladder set-up at the side of him on his way down.

12:47AM – An incredible spot with Bronson Reed on top of the ladder, and Candice Le Rae on his back, diving from the top down onto Johnny Gargano!

12:46AM – Unbelivable!

12:44AM – Candice Le Rae is now involved and helping her husband Johnny Gargano!

12:43AM – YEP – excellent action!

12:40AM – Bronson Reed paying homage to Bam Bam Bigelow tonight. But this below, OUCH!

12:35AM – A chaotic opening few minutes as expected. Ladder Matches are so unpredictable, but the level of talent in this match is just phenomenal.

12:30AM – Erick Redbeard, the former Rowan from the Wyatt Family, joined us earlier this week for Lockdown Session. The interview will be live next week. Trust us, it’s good!

12:29AM – Velveteen Dream vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed vs. Cameron Grimes. All the wrestlers are making their way to the ring. This will be brilliant. I’m a sucker for a Ladder Match!

12:23AM – Up next, it’s a Ladder Match for the vacant NXT North American Title

12:22AM – The Raw & SmackDown’s Women Champions, Bayley and Sasha Banks are in attendance!

12:20AM – Finn Balor has picked up the win and defeated Timothy Thatcher. Balor oozes superstar and is by far one of NXT’s best. Balor uses his Exclamation Point finisher to get the W. Great performance by both men.

12:17AM – SportsKeeda’s Tom Colohue isn’t wrong..

12:15AM – The aggression has been turned up a notch. Balor in control as he looks to finish off Thatcher in this hard hitting battle. This has been a great opener so far.

12:10AM – Get your votes in!

12:08AM – A technical opener so far here. I love the look of Timothy Thatcher and what he brings to the ring. Balor is in his absolute element in this NXT environment. This should be a cracker!

12:04AM – Vic Joseph, Corey Graves & Beth Phoenix on commentary. I absolutely love the theme for this TakeOver, Moth Into Flame by Metallica!

12:01AM – Finn Balor vs. Timothy Thatcher will be kicking us off!
