13:07PM – A great main event there, which had us thinking that maybe, just maybe Hiromu may have been walking out a triple champion. Thank you for joining Wrestling Travel for the LIVE blog, and enjoy your weekend!
13:05PM – Naito wants his titles back..
Naito: You've talked about justice a lot. Justice and darkness. Are you confused, EVIL? Two belts seem much to heavy for a guy like that. Rental time is over. Give 'em back.
13:03PM – Ishimori takes out an already beaten Hiromu after the match. Tetsuya Naito comes down to the ring and goes face to face with EVIL. Are we seeing our next challenger?
13:01PM – EVIL defeats Hiromu Takahashi to retain the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles in a match full of shenanigans and the nearest of nearfalls for Hiromu. Great main event!
13:01PM – A low blow by EVIL, and Dick Togo is now choking Hiromu, and then sends the referee back in the ring, as EVIL hits the power bomb and signals the end.
12:59PM – HIROMU ON THE VERGE OF WINNING, BUT DICK TOGO PULLS THE REFEREE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!
12:58PM – The referee is back and ALMOST. I THOUGHT THAT WAS IT. ANOTHER NEARFALL!
12:56PM – There’s STILL life in Hiromu, he sends EVIL crashing into the corner of the ring, where Dick Togo was on the top rope. Dick falls and is now taken out outside of the ring.
12:55PM – The referee is out, Dick Togo makes his way into the ring and beats up Hiromu, just as he was on the verge of winning this match.
12:54PM – AND AGAIN, THE NEAREST OF NEAR FALLS! Hiromu then takes out Dick Togo who was on the apron. Hiromu firmly in control now!
12:53PM – Hiromu so close to picking up the victory here, EVIL kicks out in the nick of time. Fantastic main event!
12:51PM – but no, again, Hiromu digging very deep and pushes EVIL into the corner and then locks EVIL into a submission, followed by a pinfall which EVIL kicks out!
12:49PM – For a moment here, EVIL has turned into Brock Lesnar delivering a number of German Suplexes. Hiromu struggling here, he’s lifeless.
12:47PM – But no, Hiromu digging deep here and delivers a number of German Suplexes to EVIL, but then EVIL follows up with a German of his own!
12:46PM – The tide is turning, a superplex from the top rope by EVIL to Hiromu!
12:44PM – Chris Charlton thinks Hiromu may be on the cusp of a victory toinght..
EVIL said he saw through everything Hiromu would do, but he hasnt had a single answer! Hiromu doing everything right! #njsengoku
12:32PM – Back in the ring and EVIL focusing on the injured neck of Takahashi, which he injured outside of the ring using the steel chair.
12:30PM – Takahashi sent out of the ring by EVIL, and Dick Togo takes his shots stamping on him. EVIL makes his way out of the ring, grabs a chair and uses it as weapon to take out Takahashi.
12:27PM – Takahashi wasting little time and goes straight on the attack as the bell rings!
12:25PM – And here comes ‘The Spoiler’ Dick Togo, and now the double champion, EVIL.
12:23PM – Hiromu Takahashi out first looking sensational with his multi coloured large feathers. Is tonight his night to become a triple champ?
12:14PM – This will be EVIL’s first defense of the IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental titles. Pumped for this one following the events of the last few weeks.
12:12PM – It’s main event time! EVIL (c) vs Hiromu Takahashi – IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental Championships, but the ring is being cleaned and disinfected before it begins.
12:09PM – Shingo Takagi def El Desperado to retain the NEVER Openweight TItle. That could have gone either way. Great match. Takagi has been super (dare I say it) impressive this year.
11:45AM – It’s over! Okada defeats Yujiro Takahashi via submission
Looked for a second that Yujiro had the wherewithal (or at least the molars) to counter that clutch, but once okada got under the chin it was over. Big two title matches up next! #njsengoku
11:39AM – Chris Charlton weighs in on this clash..
Very similar pace to the 2014 bout with these two, the theme then being yujiro threw everything he had in his arsenal at Okada but it wasn’t enough. Does Yujiro have anything extra six years on? #njsengoku
11:34AM – I’m very intrigued to see how Yujiro Takahashi performs here against one of the very best in the world in Okada.
From 2004 debuts, to developing in Mexico, to Yujiro's past in CHAOS, much connects Okada and Yujiro Takahashi but they couldn't be more different. Yujiro unleashing years of jealousy on Okada in the early going!

11:18AM – As expected this one has been absolute chaos so far, but very entertaining. No, i’m not going to say anyone has been impressive because they’ll lose..
11:09AM – And we’re back from the small break with a HUGE tag team match; Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Master Wato, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Yuji Nagata vs Suzuki-Gun (Zack Sabre Junior, Taichi, Minoru Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI)
10:53AM – Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, SANADA & BUSHI) def. CHAOS (SHO, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto) as SANADA forces SHO to submit. I think I need to stop saying someone is impressive, it isn’t working in their favour at all!
10:50AM – SHO impressing here in this 6-man tag team match.
10:46AM – An update from English commentator, Chris Charlton..
Milano: while we don’t know what will happen to the junior tag titles, SHO has to have a champion’s pride, and figure out how to establish himself as a singles player. #njsengoku

10:35AM – Gabriel Kidd isn’t happy here and grabs the throat of Makabe, who appears to signal he wants to face him.
10:33AM – And as I say that, Togi Makabe, Satoshi Kojima & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, & Gabriel Kidd by pinning Gabriel Kidd following a German Suplex by Makabe.
10:31AM – Help from Toru Yano, and Gabriel Kidd locks in the ‘Walls of Jericho’ in the middle of the ring. Oh, and a roll out of the move and into a pin fall by Kidd. He’s very impressive.
10:21AM – The transformation and rise of Gabriel Kidd has been great to see, and he’s certainly getting better and better working with some of the best in Japan.
10:19AM – Our next contenst was schduled to be Ryusuke Taguchi, Tomoaki Honma, Togi Makabe & Satoshi Kojima vs Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, Yota Tsuji & Gabriel Kidd. The match will now be; Togi Makabe, Satoshi Kojima & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, & Gabriel Kidd
10:17AM – Taiji Ishimori defeats Yuya Uemura by submission.
10:15AM – A great opener here full of everything from technical wrestling to showcasing incredible athleticism.
10:09AM – Jushin Liger on commentary, as we get under way!
10:07AM – Yuya Uemura makes his way to the ring and we’re ready for the opening contest. Plenty of fans in attendance, again which is great to see. All social distancing and wearing face coverings.
10:02AM – And we’re live in Nagoya. An introduction in Japanese, which I unfortunately cannot translate, it’s Japanese commentary only on NJPW World again. A video package is now playing highlighting today’s matches.
Sengoku Lord is underway in Nagoya!
Yuya Uemura vs Taiji Ishimori will get us started!
