Brandi Rhodes announced on the “Road to All Out” yesterday that a Casino Battle Royale involving 21 female wrestlers will take place in Chicago on August 31st.
The winner of the match will be the first to receive a chance to win the AEW women’s championship. Rhodes previously announced that the first women’s champion in promotion history will be crowned on October 2nd during their first show on TNT.
The match will take place on the “Buy In” pre-show for the PPV.
Names not previously signed to the promotion were also announced on the show including Jazz, Ivelisse, and the daughter of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Teal Piper.
The announced participants were shown being dealt a hand of cards by Jake “the Snake” Roberts in the video.
